The Infortrend EonStor A12E-G2121-2 has the following issues with Core-iSCSI and Open-iSCSI.
Core-iSCSI
With Core-iSCSI v1.6.2.9 under Red Hat AS 4.0 U4 (kernel 2.6.9-42.0.2.ELsmp x86_64) the initial connect works, but under load i got the following errors:
iSCSI Core Stack[1] - Incremented number of active iSCSI sessions to 4. iCHANNEL[2] - Unable to recover from CmdSN timeout while in ErorrRecoveryLevel=0 iCHANNEL[2] - Performing Cleanup for failed iSCSI CID: 0 to iqn.2002-10.com.infortrend:raid.sn7051917.00 iCHANNEL[2] - Decremented iSCSI connection count to 0 to node: iqn.2002-10.com.infortrend:raid.sn7051917.00 iCHANNEL[2] - released iSCSI session to node: iqn.2002-10.com.infortrend:raid.sn7051917.00 iSCSI Core Stack[1] - Decremented number of active iSCSI sessions to 3 iCHANNEL[2] - Unable to locate active network interface: eth0:0 iCHANNEL[2] - iSCSI login successful on CID: 0 to 10.10.73.253:3260,1 iCHANNEL[2] - Incremented iSCSI connection count to 1 to node: iqn.2002-10.com.infortrend:raid.sn7051917.00 iCHANNEL[2] - Established iSCSI session to node: iqn.2002-10.com.infortrend:raid.sn7051917.00 iSCSI Core Stack[1] - Incremented number of active iSCSI sessions to 4. iCHANNEL[2] - Unable to recover from CmdSN timeout while in ErorrRecoveryLevel=0 iCHANNEL[2] - Performing Cleanup for failed iSCSI CID: 0 to iqn.2002-10.com.infortrend:raid.sn7051917.00 iCHANNEL[2] - Decremented iSCSI connection count to 0 to node: iqn.2002-10.com.infortrend:raid.sn7051917.00 iCHANNEL[2] - released iSCSI session to node: iqn.2002-10.com.infortrend:raid.sn7051917.00 iSCSI Core Stack[1] - Decremented number of active iSCSI sessions to 3 iCHANNEL[2] - Unable to locate active network interface: eth0:0 iCHANNEL[2] - iSCSI login successful on CID: 0 to 10.10.73.253:3260,1 iCHANNEL[2] - Incremented iSCSI connection count to 1 to node: iqn.2002-10.com.infortrend:raid.sn7051917.00 iCHANNEL[2] - Established iSCSI session to node: iqn.2002-10.com.infortrend:raid.sn7051917.00 iSCSI Core Stack[1] - Incremented number of active iSCSI sessions to 4.
Open-iSCSI
With Open-iSCSI version 4:0.1.11-3 under Red Hat AS 4.0 U4 (kernel 2.6.9-42.0.2.ELsmp x86_64) the initial connect works and under load it works much better as under Core-iSCSI (ticket)
